The Rotary Club charity shop is in the middle of Frome in the Westway shopping centre. It is a large and spacious shop. When I visited (early November 2022) I thought the prices here were slightly cheaper than the other charity shops I’ve reviewed here. There is a smaller selection of large furniture items than in Warminster or Yeovil as the shop is not overcrowded and they have a larger proportion of small items. It felt more like a ‘regular’ shop in it’s layout and spaciousness.

There were more small household items than in some of the other home stores.

Again all the electrical items were PAT tested, and the furniture had passed safety standard checks, but there were no guarantees offered.

The do not have their own delivery service but do have a local ‘man with a van’ that they recommend. There are no discounts given, but 10% of all the money they make goes to international aid projects and I was told that a lot of this is going to Ukraine at the moment.

If you don’t see what you want you could try asking if they have any of that item in their store room, as they do have a large store room under the show room.

You could also phone the store before visiting to check if they have any of a particular thing in: they had no fridges on display when I visited, for instance.
