This charity shop is a good size and appeared well run. When I was there were lots of all sorts of large items of furniture. They charge £40 delivery but this is for a whole van full, if you want. They give a 6 month guarantee on all electrical items. If you want electrical items then a good tip is to visit on a Friday afternoon or Saturday, as the person who does their electrical testing of new donations is in on a Friday morning. If you want something specific (like a washing machine – none of the charity shops had many washing machines) – then ring first to see if they have any in stock.
You can get to Warminster by train from Bruton but the trains are not frequent. If your host can’t help then a Bruton Supports Ukraine volunteer driver might take you.

Also do check out the ‘last chance to buy’ items, which are especially good value.
This is a good sized shop: plenty of space and choice but not overwhelming.
